Advancing Social Protection Program Implementation System in Nepal (ASPRO) has been jointly launched with the financial support of UNICEF; Save the Children; Department of National ID and Vital Registration and CWISH. This project has been operating in 104 wards of 29 local levels in 17 districts of Nepal since April 2021, with the objective to organize programs related to social security and vital registration. The project have been organizing programs such as orientation on the existing Acts and Laws related to social security and vital registration, training on vital registration and social security management information system to manage the online system in the wards under the scope of the project, production/broadcast of social security debate program from Kantipur Television ; Supporting the wards with essential equipment, mapping of social security exemptions cases; birth registration and disability identification and identity card distribution camps; development of apps related to disability identification ; identity card distribution, and training for the Local Disability Coordination Committee .
