Half Year Review and Planning Workshop

With the objective to review CWISH’s programs and projects and overall annual plan of action for accomplishing the targeted plans with quality of 2017 and prepare programmatic plan for upcoming year along with the capacity building of CWISH team, the agency had carried out the Half yearly review planning and capacity building workshop from 21st to 23rd July 2017 at Nagarkot. The participants were welcomed and the overall workshop was chaired by the Executive Board member, Mrs. Shanti Adhikari. The workshop commenced with the capacity building of the CWISH staff on the structural understanding and their responsibilities in child protection of federal state and their jurisdictions. Further the Resource person for the event Mr. Chandrika Khatiwada made participants plan different possible activities and programs considering the responsibilities and limitations of local structures to work for protection and promotion of children and their rights at local level. At the end of the day, the staff members of CWISH shared their perspectives on ongoing working modality of CWISH and suggested for development of further programs for increasing the reach of CWISH at all possible federal structures.

Team Leader Mr. Krishna P. Subedi and Program Manager Mr. Shree Ram Bajagain presented the programmatic review and prospects of CWISH along with the status of donor partnership and Mr. Pramod Acharya, Finance and Admin Manager presented the admin and finance review of 2017 till June on following day. Later along with the thematic review, the focal persons of each projects presented their project reviews along with the plan vs. progress, major achievements, challenges, learning and way forward and on final day the team prepared the plans under the thematic and programmatic basis so as to incorporate it in the Annual Plan for 2018.
