Empowering Adolescents for Resilience Building in Earthquake Affected Districts
  • CWISH in partnership with Consortium Nepal has been implementing the project, "Empowering Adolescents for Resilience Building in Earthquake Affected Districts" to achieve the improved capacity of government system and other key stakeholders (especially children, adolescents, youth, families, NGOs and media) to promote actions for disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation and resilient within the project locality and their society. CWISH has targeted to empower the adolescents to promote them as change agent. We believe that they will transform from the traditional beliefs, practices, attitude and knowledge towards resilience (practices, knowledge and attitude) by educating and mobilizing the youths through life skills, rupantaran and behaviour change communication. This project is being implemented in 4 VDCs (Gumdi, Salyantar, Jarlang and Nalang) and Nilakantha municipality of Dhading District from September 2016 to October 2017 in the technical and financial support of UNICEF.
